Digital Conversions uses laser scan technology to accurately capture and reproduce spaces, structures and systems in a scaled, 3D environment.
The information acquired can be displayed in grayscale or color, making this an excellent tool for evaluating existing conditions and documenting historical sites. The data is converted into a format that is compatible with, and easily inserted into most industry standard software.
The point cloud can be manipulated to present the data in multiple views including plans, sections and elevations.
The scan data, known as a point cloud, can be converted into a "digital twin" for use in platforms such as Revit (.rvt) and AutoCAD (.dwg).
Floor plans, elevations, sections and details can be extracted from the 3D model used to assist in design, add dimensions, extract quantities and calculate square footage.
